Job Description:
The Customer Service / Collector position will report directly to the Director of Operations and will be solely responsible for negotiating payment arrangements with customers on outstanding balances via the telephone. Responsibilities include:
•Professionally handle all incoming and outgoing calls pertaining to active accounts
•Negotiate and offer repayment solutions in accordance with client and company guidelines
•Determine the reason for account delinquency
•Gather and track customer’s financial information
•Evaluate and assess customer’s credit and financial information
•Direct customers to viable payment sources
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
This position requires one year experience working in a customer service or call center/collection environment. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented as well as be proficient with a computer in order to document information on a computer while effectively communicating with the customer via the telephone. The candidate has to be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. A High School diploma is required, Associates degree or some college coursework preferred.
