Akron area company seeking a Finance Manager who will be responsible for the financial activities of a business unit. Main duties include planning and financial cycles, monitor and evaluate performance of unit. Provide timely and actionable information to Senior Management. Will work closely with General Manager for operations reporting and forecasting of two locations. Direct the development, analysis and consolidation of operation plan, forecast and strategic planning processes. Provide financial alternatives and direction for business leadership. Additionally will work with Sales and Marketing teams on sales proposals, pricing and negotiations. Review and provide input and analysis for capital expenditure requests from the business, verifying financial projections and validity of assumptions. Monitor progress against milestones and spending against budgets. Serve as “business partner” to the business director, participate in Business Teams, and help create and drive business strategy throughout the business group.
The job requires Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance MBA preferred and 8+ years experience in manufacturing industry.
