Job Description: Will be responsible for planing and scheduling work of assigned staff performing work in a wide variety of functional areas. Supervises the application of HR policies in employee relations, wage and salary administration, training, APP/EEO, safety, employee benefits, workers compensation, personal records, OSHA Safety Standards, industrial security, and related HR administrative matters at the project location in compliance with contractual requirements and established company policies. Responsible for the direction and control of all project employee relations programs, plans and actions to include security and training in compliance with contractual and company specifications and policies. Responsible for the recruitment and employment processing activities to include compliance with EEO/AAP requirements and associated records, files and reports. Responsible for development and implementation of an effective internal employee complaint procedure for expeditious resolution of company employee complaints. Maintain descriptive job (position) descriptions for each program organizational line position to include each major job/position activity and minimum qualification levels of education/experience required. Responsible for control and compliance with all directives applicable to the program personal security clearances and security clearance records and files. Responsible for the certification and records of company personnel in compliance with contractual requirements. Develops and maintains the AAP/EEO plans and ensures recruiting, promotions and terminations are accomplished in a fair and equitable manner. Liaises and interacts with local union representatives and with subcontractors. May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends and holidays. The candidate should have Bachelors Degree in personnel management or related field or equivalent experience in employee relations and personnel areas of security and safety applications.
