Job Description:
Coordinates daily transportation operations with manufacturing in accordance with policies and procedures. Communicates all operational changes to respective departments. Responsible for all daily operations in Loading Department Responsible for Rairtech weekly reporting Responsible for People Net Fleet Management reporting Responsible for maintaining on time and RMA pick up performance Administers monthly driver safety training Responsible for providing means necessary to deliver company products to customer base while maintaining excellent customer service Performs requisitions for equipment rental, materials, and supplies within limits of department budget Follows compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and DOT regulations Investigates causes of customer or shipper complaints and responds accordingly. Responsible to report and administer all forms and follow-up in regards to accidents, injuries, and near misses. Attend DOT training and other training that is necessary Negotiates contracts and rates for outside carriers, Broker agreements, and Backhauls relative to transportation.
