Job Description:
Provide oversight and management for claim medical review. Coordinate with Member Service Organization (MSO) the appropriate linkages and transfers of member benefit inquiries. Work with Clinical Quality to ensure consistent application of benefits and criteria. Recruit and develop clinical staff to promote optimal performance. Management and oversight of all budgetary functions of a large clinical unit. Ongoing identification, development and implementation of improved processes aim at increasing efficiency and performance of clinical unit. Job Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience Registered Nurse (RN) license 3+ years of budget experience Experience with management of pre-certification, concurrent review, and case management processes and staff Experience with the benefits and medical necessity process Occasional travel (Statewide) Business Specific Criteria (preferred skills): 7+ years of clinical experience to include 4+ years of direct management experience.
