Job Description:
Located at Western Regional Medical Center (WRMC), the position supports the mission of CTCA by managing the overall Surgical Services department at Western. Position Overview: Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel in the operating room. Ensures adherence to procedure and schedule. Supervises the procurement and maintenance of equipment and supplies, staffing and training of employees, and budgeting. May oversee pre- and post-operative care of patients. Education and Experience Level: 5-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Active Arizona RN license BSN degree Three years RN experience, oncology experience preferred Three years supervisory experience Microsoft Office proficiency Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and efficiency in prioritizing multiple projects Demonstrates the ability to work in a collaborative, effective manner Demonstrates the ability to utilize critical thinking and apply sound clinical judgment and assessment skills for decision making Demonstrates the willingness and ability to research, learn, and obtain knowledge for the performance of the position Able to interact with a wide variety of individuals and handle several complex situations simultaneously Evidence of leadership, creativity, integrity and initiative Knowledge and Skills:
