This is amulti-discipline position which can be assignedthroughout the company as appropriate. Seeking anABMG-certified Clinical Biochemical Geneticist to join ateam of Genetics Directors at the Center of EsotericTesting (CET) in Burlington, NC and the Center forMolecular Biology and Pathology (CMBP) in ResearchTriangle Park, NC. Oversee a growing menu ofmetabolic tests including organic acid analysis, aminoacid analysis, and carnitine profiling. Thelaboratory works in close concert with cytogenetics,biochemical genetics and maternal serum screeninglaboratories at CMBP. The Director will have theopportunity to participate in the development of newbiochemical genetics assays. The position requiresa PhD in Genetics or a related field and ABMGcertification in Clinical Biochemical Genetics. Experience with mass spectrometry isdesirable. 1st ShiftMonday-Friday Required Skills: Requires a PhD in Genetics or a related field and ABMG certification in Clinical Biochemical Genetics with 5-7 years of experience.
