Job Description:
The candidate will identify and understand complex tax issues through reading financial statements, 10K's term sheets, purchase agreements, client correspondence and tax returns and to evaluate the business, financial and accounting implications of such tax issues. Draft and assist in the delivery of proposals for engagements. Provide leadership in timely and quality delivery of services to exceed the expectations of clients. Will have an opportunity to expand tax research skills via extensive tax research involving complex technical tax issues across a broad spectrum of federal tax law (Subchapter C, Subchapter K, consolidated returns, tax accounting methods, taxable and non taxable transactions, and executive compensation). The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting. An M.B.A. or M.S. degree in accounting or tax will be preferred.
