Summary of Operations Assistant includes : Under general supervision of the Regional Manager, travels to pharmacies within specified territory to perform appropriate operational tasks to enhance workflow of pharmacy. Responsibilities of Operations Assistant includes : Proficiency with the Genoa pharmacy dispensing system, including the pharmacy computer program and packaging options. Demonstrates knowledge of medication preparation for dispensing including compliance packaging Assists the pharmacy employees with communication with insurance carriers and state billing claims issues Performs pharmacy housekeeping tasks and all other pharmacy technician procedures Assists other pharmacy employees with implementation of existing business with technology provided Aids in establishing and training of appropriate procedures for growth of prescription volume Demonstrates knowledge of business practices and general operations of pharmacies within region Able to travel regularly within specified region Exercises tact when dealing with mental health patients and being sensitive to timing, situations, and confidential relationships Other duties as assigned by regional manger .
