We seek a committed local volunteer to contact and work with volunteer and service organizations at area colleges and universities recruiting individual and group volunteers for a variety of opportunities. You'll help find both hands-on and virtual volunteers for needed projects and events and you'll manage most aspects of attracting groups of volunteers for special events. Skills You will have had previous volunteer experience and previous recruiting experience. You'll also have the ability to develop and execute a project plan. You must also be able to make a time commitment of at least two hours a week. We seek local volunteers only; but the volunteer may work virtually. Most people who contact us fail to follow through. Please make sure that you have the time available to volunteer. Please list your experience in your response. Project Library is a program of the Morin Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. It supports literacy and life-long learning through in-kind donations to needy public schools and public libraries nationwide and through its Library Development program for non-traditional libraries in the Greater Boston area.
