Job Description:
Technologies and Services segment, develops and delivers a modular array of interoperable, enterprise-level applications that unlock the power of barcode scanning to positively identify patients and ensure the accuracy of medication administration, specimen collection and labeling, blood transfusions, and patient charting and viewing. CareFusion® Products offers a suite of barcode-enabled positive patient identification products that include: Medication Administration to support the medication administration process; Specimen Collection Verification to verify and label lab specimens; Transfusion Verification to verify blood products prior to transfusion; and, Nurse Data Collection to record vital signs and patient care information and to view patient data. II. Purpose: The Director of Marketing Management will oversee all aspects of marketing including marketing strategy, product management, marketing communications, market research, and customer and sales support. They will also have responsibility for forecasting and achieving product sales targets and managing marketing expense budgets. The position will have 5-6 direct reports with strong potential for future growth. In addition to the responsibilities listed above, this indiviual will work closely with the VP of Marketing for Patient Care Applications to implement a more market-driven culture and business approach based on best pratices. This will involve transforming the fundamental role Marketing plays withing the company, and therefore will require excellent people and change-management skills. III.
