Job Description:
Provides leadership in the development Infusion Systems product platform features and capabilities that drive sustainable value with technical buyers (biomedical engineers). Works closely with design team to select, develop, and implement technologies / features that enable a continuous stream of service revenue for Infusion Systems products globally.Represents Technical Services on Global Infusion Systems new product development teams. Prepares PDP service related deliverables concept generation thru initial market release for medication delivery management systems. Work closely with design team to select, develop, and implement technologies / features that drive consistent design for serviceability practice across all Infusion Systems products globally. Work closely with Global Infusion Systems marketing to provide / integrate comprehensive design for service revenue planning into each of division's product development / planning teams. Monitor competitive service offerings to identify threats and opportunities. Leads implementation of complete service infrastructure for next generation products. Analyze global market place data to develop strategy and tactics for growing competitive servicing advantages thru product design features and capabilities. Develop / communicate standard economic model to capture and analyze life cycle operating costs. Job Requirements: 10-12 years in medical device servicing or related experience in medical device operations / technical sales. BS in related engineering discipline with experience in design, development, or technical sales. Understanding of division's products and services highly desirable. Previous experience in sales, marketing, or MBA preferred. Key required skills include: Must be well versed in engineering disciplines (e.g. computer science, software system development, electronics, engineering materials). Must possess knowledge of related disciplines. Must be self-motivated, have good interpersonal skills,capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought and experience. Ability to direct / manage across multiple cross-functional teams and regions.
