Job Description:
Key role in ensuring alignment of cross-sector major initiatives with the enterprise IS strategy. Promote use of architecture principles and methodologies. Other responsibilities include decomposing an overall strategy into discrete projects with scope, resource and cost estimates. Plans and manages medium-to-large sized systems projects of moderate-to-high complexity. Ensures project results contribute positive business value and meet agreed-upon scope, cost, schedule and quality objectives. Capable of directing a team of project managers. Actively participate in developing and maintaining integrated business process & application roadmaps with focus on the SAP strategy in and around the enterprise. Advise on the effective use of information management methodologies/technologies and support any needed changes in order to leverage information products, services, methods, and technologies used at bioMerieux. Effectively communicates the portfolio status to all key stakeholders. Ensure all projects are developed in compliance with IT and FDA policies/procedures, partnering with similar subject matter experts to leverage solutions and centers of excellence, working effectively with IS Business Area Managers to plan and prioritize demand from business organizations, ensuring solutions are designed for maintainability, availability, and proper design standards, manage outsource providers per SLAs and report performance, ensure adherence to the SDLC and software validation processes, participate in annual business planning and manage departmental budget / Total Cost of Ownership.
