The Director of Health & Safety will oversee the Companys safety department responsible for all workplace safety programs and OSHA compliance. The position will be responsible for:Advising senior management on the goals, successes and plans of the safety program, including compliance status and improvements needed; Designing and delivering comprehensive safety management plans and objectives specific to each division;Driving the culture of safety within the Company, including working with senior management to develop mechanisms to promote and reward improved safety records and consistent and effective disciplinary tools;Driving decisions and actions necessary to improve the Companys safety practices. Skills/Requirements Fifteen years of experience in developing and managing comprehensive safety programs with a proven track record of success; Demonstrated strong leadership and staff development capability;Proven ability to drive decisions and take actions necessary to improve safety practices;Excellent organizational and process management skills;A Bachelors or Masters Degree in Safety/Health along with relevant professional designations.
