Job Description:
The Director of Admissions must be both an effective team-builder and team member, possess effective oral and written communication skills, up-to-date knowledge of best practices in student recruitment, including direct mail, electronic and Web-enabled recruiting strategies, territory and funnel management, telecounseling, campus visitation programs and strategies, the effective use enrollment software, and the effective use of data and information in planning and decision-making. Job Requirements Additional qualifications include five years or more of progressively responsible experience in a successful undergraduate admissions program, preferably in a small or medium-size private college or university. A master's degree is preferred. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience and ability.
