Collaborates with Foundation program directors to link research, leadership and educational programs to effectively structure and pursue restricted giving opportunities. - Works with the EVP and other Foundation leaders to develop and implement the Foundation\'s annual fund operating plan. Develops and manages a nation-wide prospect management portfolio in order to coordinate volunteer activities and manage the solicitation of major gifts and sponsorships. - Recruits and develops individuals as part of an expanding volunteer fund-raising structure. Manages and updates a professional training program for staff and volunteers. Develops and manages a volunteer and donor recognition program that yields satisfaction and renewed commitment to Foundation service. - Directs and oversees the Foundation\'s donor management system inclusive of gift processing, donor acknowledgement and donor history. Works closely with the EVP to develop and manage a system of communication and reporting at Foundation staff meetings, ASHP monthly meetings and Foundation Board meetings. - Seeks and secures opportunities for speaking to health-system pharmacy audiences where the mission and programs of the Foundation can be promoted. Develops and manages a plan for speaking engagements that offer an opportunity to seek volunteer and financial support of the Foundation. - Manages the fund-raising component of the Foundation\'s annual budget and provides monthly monitoring reports. - Serves on appropriate Foundation and ASHP committees as assigned. - Participates in continuing education programs to ensure that new concepts and approaches to fund raising and communications are utilized by the Foundation. - Performs other duties as assigned.
