Job Description:
Position Range: $37k - $59k Creative Communications Hiring Range: $37k - $48k Responsibilities Work closely with the Marketing directors and staff to develop visual strategies to produce print promotional pieces, advertising, flyers, catalogs, etc., related to the particular product category. Consult with and work in collaboration with the Marketing and Creative directors for design concepts and direction. Establish, present, and recommend, overall visual strategies for the category product and link strategies to the theme and content of the product and/or the promotional piece. Provide direction to link product development strategies and the product to the promotional piece when appropriate. Manage and control all aspects of acquired artwork through the utilization of the team members and outside vendors. Administrate and ensure adherence to budgets assigned to the creative aspects of the product and promotional components and team. Develop visual strategies and direction for print promotional pieces. Manage aspects of acquired artwork, the work of freelancers and outside vendors. Be knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of design and production and print materials. Manage the budget related to the product and the team. Knowledge/Experience 4 -year degree in Art and Design Minimum of 4 years of graphic design experience Previous experience in printing and/or publishing Able to apply design techniques, procedures, technology and tools Understanding of technical file process (4/color process and single to multiple colors) Macintosh computer skills Skills.
