Assurant sells Dental, Group Life, and Disability insurance. Assurant Employee Benefits is rated Excellent by AM Best and A (Strong) by Standard & Poor's. Our company is looking to aggressively grow our national dental PPO panel. We are seeking an experienced representative to recruit dentists in our Houston territory. Ideally, this position will be based in our Houston Sales Office. We are seeking a motivated individual with excellent sales, interpersonal and communication skills and the willingness to work hard to meet goals. Ideal candidate should possess at least 1 year sales or field recruitment experience, although candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply. Willingness to work hard, travel (75% of job responsibilities) and spend time in the field. Minimal network maintenance (0% to 5% of total job responsibilities) is also required. Success in this position will be defined by: · Territory development · Cold calling to generate leads · Establishing and maintaining relationships · Educating customers on the products · Successfully recruiting dentists to the PPO Panel · Following up on questions and issues · Persisting available leads in territory Qualifications Responsibilities for this position include: · Recruitment of dentists into the PPO network · Maintenance of the PPO network as required · Call dentist offices who have requested information · Visit dental offices in territory (cold calls and appointments) · Negotiate fee schedules with dental practices · Obtain application and credentialing materials as required
