Job Description:
A Project Engineering Manager with 10-20+ years of experience working on large power plant EPC projects. You need a BS degree in Engineering. A PE license would be considered a big plus. The ideal candidate will have experience working for an A/E or Design Build firm. You will initiate, evaluate and approve technical standards for engineering projects for power plants. You will provide oversight for civil, controls, electrical and systems engineering work related to design, and construction on major construction projects. This is a corporate office position that requires 25% travel to the project sites to provide field operation support. You will review, approve or recommend approval of purchase requisition, bid analysis and suppliers of major engineering equipment. You need a solid background in construction management, construction safety, & labor relations. You should have experience in design review and start-up of power plant equipment. You should also have experience in contracting and contract negotiations.
