Job Description:
Performing related fundamental engineering support tasks (plotting drawings, preparing transmittals, preparing overnight packages, updating computer lists, filing prints, distributing drawings, making simple calculations, proofreading reports, etc.) Performing related engineering support tasks which are not completely standardized or prescribed Referencing information from vendor prints, catalogs, technical manuals, etc., and interfacing with engineers as required Supporting field assignments as required Job Requirements Normally requires a high school graduate with vocational technical training in basic drafting technology and typically 3-4 years' related experience (or equivalent working knowledge/experience). This is also the entry-level classification for an individual with a 2-year degree in drafting/design technology. Incumbent must demonstrate a working knowledge of utilizing CADD equipment for a variety of standard applications.
