Job Description:
Manage expenditures (SG&A and capital) versus budget, forecast and prior year . Provide business partners with financial insights into operational efficiencies, spend-reduction opportunities, early identification of problem areas . Assist with long-term financial planning . Manage Apparel Design corporate allocation to Sears and Kmart business units . Partner with Hoffman Estates-based Corporate Finance team to drive efficiencies, streamline processes, communicate Corporate procedures . Create ad hoc sales and margin analyses - by style, category & division; communicate by-style and by-category financial performance to Design team to inform profitable product development . As needed, partner with Legal and Procurement teams to manage contracts and vendor relationships. Proven analytical ability and creative problem solving skills . Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to partner with and strategically influence all levels of the organization . Experience in budgeting, planning, forecasting, closing and reconciling operating expenditures . Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and data management skills . Strong organizational skills. Ability to prioritize deliverables. Strong sense of urgency . Retail, supply chain or operationally-oriented Financial experience a strong plus. A Bachelors Level Degree Years Experience 2 - 5 Years Experience Travel Requirements On Occasion.
