Job Description:

Performs the various general accounting functions associated with cost standards, variances, inventories, fixed assets, month end and general ledger close, monthly forecasting, budgeting and forecasting. Other responsibilities involve maintaining the general ledger; coordinating account reconciliations and ensuring that all accounting transactions and journal entries are in accordance with GAAP and company policies; preparing divisional financial statements; maintaining SOX compliance; uploading of flash reports into Hyperion; and creating reports and analysis to support operating department objectives. The Finance Manager communicates regularly with department heads in an effort to maintain accurate cost/expense levels, and prepares monthly forecasts and annual budgets. This is an opportunity at a company with a solid reputation as a corporate leader with high integrity and a diverse product line. A B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA. Ability to take full ledger responsibility and ownership. Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Must be able to multi-task, as this position is responsible for many different areas of operation.
