Job Description:
Will develop and maintain long-term financial plans and models, including but not limited to, (1) the six year financial model submitted to the State Council of Higher Education in Virginia (SCHEV) biennially; (2) the ten year financial model submitted to the University\'s Board of Visitors; and (3) capital project financial plans. The individual will work closely with units across the University to project revenues (state general funds, tuition, private support, auxiliary revenues, grants and contracts) and expenditures (salary, benefits, operations and maintenance of facilities, financial aid). The models will incorporate multiple variables, complex what-if scenarios, and sensitivity analysis, along with accompanying narrative analysis of planning scenarios. The Director of Financial Planning will collaborate with others to link the University\'s strategic direction to the financial planning process.
