Job Description:
Responsibilities / Objectives* Develop preliminary designs.* Prepare design and construction documents, including specifications.* Process & review shop drawings.* Direct project production staff.* Provide in-house & field support in the administration of projects during construction.* Assist with project budgets, administration and schedules. A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field. * Architecture License.* Minimum 10 years related experience.* Must have experience producing construction documents using AutoCad and field experience providing construction administration services.* Must be experienced in architectural design, detailing and documentation of new building, restoration and renovation projects. Will report to a Senior Project Manager, who is managing a national federal contract. Candidate will be responsible for the design & production of buildings prepared by the Wayne Architectural Group for this project. Candidate will also be involved in a variety of projects types, including new construction, renovations and restoration work for a major federal client. Projects may be local or national, with varying degrees of complexities and challenges.
