Job Description:
Education: At least a BA or BS in an environmental, planning, or engineering field. Experience: A minimum of ten years direct experience in preparing EISs, EAs, permits and planning documents, and FERC licensing documents, including management responsibilities.A candidate MUST have experience producing NEPA and/or FERC documents for energy or mining development projects.Software: Basic office software, including the Microsoft suite. Job Description : The successful candidate will be managing permitting and NEPA projects for a variety of resource development projects. The responsibilities will include working as a Program Manager on large EIS projects and as Project Manager on smaller EAs and FERC reports. Work would be in a team environment, and the expectation is that the candidate would be able to quickly advance to the managing of large EIS projects. Firm is currently assisting clients with projects such as oil and gas development, transmission line and pipeline permitting, solar and wind development, power plant permitting, water resource projects, and coal mine development. Our clients are national/international in scope and have many needs for a variety of projects. We are looking for the right Senior Project Manager to help with these projects/clients, establish client relationships, and manage their own projects. The successful candidate will have management and analysis skills, including schedule and budget management.We are looking for an energetic and outgoing candidate that communicates well with clients, regulatory agencies, and staff members alike. We expect the candidate to be able to sell his/her own skills, as well as firm expertise and experience.
