Job Description:
This candidate will develop leading-edge applications in a dynamic, fast-paced, and deadline-oriented environment. He/She will incorporate n-tier application architecture, reusable component design, and design patterns to facilitate new business products and services. This person will be a key player within a closely-knit and highly focused team that enables the growth of the company brand through creation and management of in-house applications.
Candidate must be senior-level programmer who is comfortable working with and leading other developers.
Job Requirements:
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5+ years programming experience
- 3+ years ASP.NET development
- 2+ years VB.NET Windows Application development or C# with interest working with VB.NET
- 1+ year development with .NET Framework 2.0
- Strong technical and analytical ability
- Careful and methodical programming
- Ability to make decisions
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Active Server Pages, JavaScript, HTML, and XML/XSLT
- Knowledge of XSLT
- Familiarity with hierarchical data structures
- Knowledge of basic publishing/layout concepts and terms
- Experience in refactoring with emphasis on patterns
