Job Description:
The Data Architect will be responsible analyzing business requirements for information and accountable for designing the appropriate enterprise data architecture standards and policies as well as managing the maintenance of the resulting data models. The Data Architect will collaborate with senior business area analysts to both develop the global common data definitions and to confirm the ongoing viability of the models and processes.
Qualifications:
- Work closely with other Architects on the team to guide and review projects
- Building business relationships and promoting solid data governance practices
- Interpreting business requirements/ strategies and mapping them to IT Capabilities
- Work with data teams to coordinate logical and physical data designs for both relational and dimensional databases
- Set and maintaining standards and procedures for data modeling and design
- Set and maintaining standards and procedures for data modeling and design
- Promote data sharing, consistency, and reuse
- Implement meta data management, data dictionary, data quality, data profiling, data security, shared data usage and data cleansing standards and practice them in every project
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
5+ Years project management experience
7+ Years experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in information system design
5+ Years experience in Meta Data Design Management
