Job Description:
Senior Architect will develop hardware and operating system strategies to provide efficient scalable platforms for applications and infrastructure. Develop and implement metrics to measure progress against program objectives, including performance availability, and total cost of ownership. Contribute to data center strategy and development of technical plans. Participate in communicating progress to IT leaders.
- Review the application portfolio against evolving business needs and strategies.
- Ensure all current datacenters operate with optimal efficiency and have fully scalable processes that facilitate delivery of new services for expanding business needs.
Proactively identify barriers, risks and issues with the existing systems and processes and recommend solutions and strategies.
- Develop, maintain and communicate high level plans for investing in infrastructure environment, including identification and management of cost reduction opportunities.
- Ability to create artifacts in MS-Visio or other packages as needed
- MUST have proven hands-on experience with designing, implementing and deploying large scale, Global technology infrastructure solutions, for the last 2 years at minimum.
- Broad experience across multiple platforms, operating systems, programming languages, databases, systems development and systems management methodologies. Very strong background with UNIX, NT.

BS, preferably MS (EE or CS)
7-10+ years technical experience
Other:
Independent, self-starter with the ability to take ownership of problems and opportunities and demonstrated leadership skills.
