Job Description:
• Owns tactical execution of supply strategy.
• Issues and manages purchasing documents in alignment with contractual commitments.
• Cost, schedule and inventory accountability for production material.
• Monitors supplier performance and provides regular feedback to Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Quality.
• Reviews all delivery issues and takes appropriate action to prevent schedule interruption.
• Works closely with Supplier Quality to disposition non conforming material within prescribed timelines.
• May mentor others in the department.
• May include special projects.

Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
• 5-10 years experience as a Senior Buyer
• BS in Engineering or other technical discipline.
• A minimum of 1 year experience with electronic components and PCB fabrication.
• A minimum of 1 year SAP experience is required.
Preferred Requirements:
• APICS Certified.
• Ability to work well across all levels of the organization
• A strong technical background
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail oriented and able to multitask.
