The Sales Manager will lead all aspects of sales process to assigned accounts, including execution of strategies to drive new customer acquisition. This person should be very comfortable navigating target accounts, at executive level especially, which have complex business problems and a complex hierarchy of stakeholders that can influence decisions. Not only would the right person have ability to support multiple accounts at various positions along sales process, they would be solution based in orientation comfortable with typical sales cycle from 3 to 6 months. A lead generation program is in place and someone is needed to augment these and take them to next level. The Sales Manager will lead cross-functional account teams which will diagnose customer business problem and which will articulate company value proposition to appropriate stakeholders at many different levels of customer, throughout all stages of client's sales process. In addition, Sales Manager will be responsible for developing account plans to further penetrate and extend reach of client's solutions within Sales Manager's assigned base of existing customers. The Sales Manager will report to President and the role requires 20% travel. This role manages consultative, end-to-end sales process entailing prospecting, requirements definition, solution development/ presentation, business justification, and closure. The role will prospect and identify enterprise sales opportunities; conduct product demonstrations; write business proposals.
