Aerospace Senior Global Commodity Managers to support the execution of the Sourcing Strategy for critical Honeywell Aerospace commodities, with annual expenditures between $50M and $200M.Key responsibilities include: developing pre negotiation plans, negotiating agreements with suppliers within timeline, conducting competitive market surveys and analysis, managing global supplier relationships and escalations, managing the business to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), driving transition and productivity projects for related commodities, developing Requests For Quotes, managing the export classification and clearance process, working closely with Partner Organizations on source selection, supporting supplier quality and recovery efforts, and developing suppliers to continuous improvement requirements.The successful candidate will work closely with internal customers (Aerospace Product Centers) to help ensure continuity of supply, and partners with Senior Commodity Managers to optimize and globalize the supplier base.The Commodity Manager participates in cross functional teams across Aerospace to drive Honeywell?s supply base to premiere levels of performance in Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service, and Partners closely with Honeywell sites to ensure AOP targets are accurately developed and achieved.Travel required as necessary (estimated to be 10%). Qualifications ?Degree in related field and minimum of 5 years related experience, or MBA and minimum of 3 years related experience. ?Certifications desirable (Six Sigma, NAPM, ISM, APICS, SQE, SME).
