Milwaukee's upper east side, one of the city's most attractive residential areas and home to many faculty, staff, and students. position functions as the Operations and eCommerce Manager which reports to the UWM Bookstore DirectorThis position is responsible for the online system for purchasing bookstore goods and servicesThe incumbent is also responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving operation and for selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating and supervising departmental employees Salary: The starting salary $34,260-$56,520 per year, plus generous vacation and personal holidays, sick leave, and other fringe benefitsA 12-month supervisory probationary period is required.Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Candidates must have knowledge of a retail shipping and receiving operation, supervisory experience and excellent customer service skillsApplicants must also have a thorough understanding of ecommerce systems and processes, together with skills using Cold Fusion, Dream Weaver, Flash, Illustrator and Photoshop.
