Job Description:
Verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.Conduct key customer interface as required. Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow through the efficient usage, training and development of regular & temp. employee labor. Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures. Promotes a team atmosphere, mantains harmony among works and effectively resolves work related issues. Conducts performance evals. and recommonds promations, wage increases and other performance actions.Inspects physical condition of warehouse & equipment repairs.Coordination of warehouse activities & planning employee safty and housekeeping.Provides input in annual development and capital budgets, provides routine bedget variance reports & complies with internal control policies and procedures. Skills / Requirements Must be able to perform each of the essential duties satisfactorily, 4 years of college degree or equivalent certification program or at least five years of related experiance and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must have mathematical skills,have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general bussiness periodicals, perfessional journals, technical procedures, or govermental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, and reasoning ability.Employee will occasionally be required to stand, walk,sit,and kneel.
