Job Description:
Exercise leadership coordination and communication role with Regional EHS staff, all operating divisions and their H&S coordinators to seek innovative input and effectively implement the Company\'s policies, procedures and overall safety management program. Train key division, facility, and corporate personnel on the importance of maintaining a safe workplace and their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance with all elements of the company\'s health and safety program. Provide consultation to all levels of the organization for identifying improvement areas, maintaining compliance and establishing target objectives for continuous improvements. Function as a corporate liaison between governmental agencies and the internal organization in order to maintain compliance, improve workplace safety and promote a culture of safety excellence. Coordinates and communicates health and safety program efforts with Director of Environmental Affairs to synergize the company's overall environmental, health and safety (EHS) program. Audit the organization\'s health and safety management systems for compliance and improvement opportunities. Communicated audit results for implementation of corrective actions and perform routine follow up. Identify and implement procedures for maintaining health and safety records and documents. Procedures and records should be maintained current. Coordinate and communicate with insurance providers regarding administration of workers compensation programs, annual service plans, loss prevention and claims management support. Communicate internally with corporate management to minimize health and safety risks and liabilities. Coordinate and communicate with executive staff and business unit leadership to maintain focus and visibility of the company\'s health and safety program. Promote employee involvement at all levels of the organization.
