3 Test Electrical Systems Design Engineers Needed!

Position Description:
Tandel Systems is working with our clients to perform the engineering required to meet their outsourced special test equipment needs.
HANDS-ON Electrical Design Engineer (EDE) to research and develop, design, and test digital and analog circuits, components and products.
Candidate will develop from concept through production while working closely with other disciplines throughout the design cycle to develop cost effective manufacturable products. The Engineer MUST have 6-8 years experience in electronic based tests, power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and waveform generators, DMM’s , Function Generators and 488 Bus. Knowledge of electro-mechanical manufacturing processes, equipment, standards, packaging and parts useful! Schematic capture and board layout skills in OrCAD are required! Generating design documentation and manuals for Special Test Equipment (STE)
Applicant should be familiar with tools like;
Fabrication support, integration, test, and certification of STE (special test equipment)
Extensive knowledge of schematic capture, PCB layout and design tools (OrCAD a plus)
Working knowledge of PCB fabrication and Test
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Solid Works or Inventor
2D and 3D modeling of electro-mechanical assemblies
Familiarity with ASME, and MIL SPEC design methods helpful
Working knowledge of custom interface hardware design
Working knowledge of design and assembly of test equipment in 19” racks
Writing Documentation for Development and QA
Hardware test environment using LABview
Microsoft Office including MS VISIO
Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
Bachelor's degree or BSEE higher in Computer Science / Electrical / Electronics / Software
