Job Description:
TSF plays a key role in funding the global operations of Cargill through cross-border funding structures and management of transferability and convertibility risks. In addition to structured trade finance and internal funding, TSF also leverages Cargill's international trade flows to create trade structures that provide funding to emerging market-based financial institutions and corporations. Working with highly motivated members of TSF, this position will be responsible for effectively executing the required documents for settlement of assigned trade finance products. Responsibilities are to execute and coordinate document preparation, confirm trades, move cash, create/ endorse/ deliver assets, monitor positions and perform fiduciary responsibilities for investors. The position works closely with traders, internal and external counterparties, and accountants. Principal Accountabilities: 60% Work with traders and external counterparties to confirm trades, pay/receive payments and trade settlement trade finance related transactions. 20% Ongoing maintenance/follow up on trade execution 10% Back up other desks 5% Maintain positions through reconciliation and trade files in an organized manner. 5% Understand the Internal Control environment and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Finance or relevant business experience Intermediate aptitude with spreadsheets Strong analytical and problem solving skills An eagerness to learn with ability to understand complex financial transactions.
