Manage sweetener terminal evaluation, selection and performance process. The Sweetener Product Line Logistics Manager position advises CTL Rail Logistics Operations Manager on product line fleet size requirements; responsible for communicating and execution of fleet requirements between BU and Cargill Transportation and Logistics (CTL) to meet Sales Operations Plan for 7 CMNA facilities; proactive lease and maintenance budgeting, planning, scheduling and monitoring of repairs; analyzing lease and maintenance spend; identify trends of repairs; executing BU responsibility around AAR compliance requirements. Principal Accountabilities: Sets transportation and logistics strategy; carrier performance expectations; and manages carrier freight spend activity of $185 million for Corn Milling corn sweeteners, liquid citric acid, and liquid sugar product lines 20% Orchestrate centralized carrier negotiations and manage freight spend to best leverage a market economic and service advantage. Work with Cargill staff and carriers to drive innovative enhancements in our delivery process. Responsible for resolving carrier-related service interruptions; claim recovery; rate management and assessorial activities in accordance with respective product line strategy. Work closely with Sales and Operations to develop and execute customer delivery solutions. 30% Manage the evaluation, selection and performance of sweetener terminal requirements 20% Provides assistance in managing annual Corn Milling corn sweeteners, liquid citric acid, and liquid sugar rail car lease expense of $26.2 million and rail car repair and maintenance expense of $4.5 million. Communication and execution of fleet requirements between BU and Cargill Transportation and Logistics (CTL) to meet Sales Operations Plan for 7 CMNA facilities.
