Job Description:
A construction management responsibility includes ensuring adequate onsite engineering and inspection staff to complete contract administration duties and to provide oversight of the contractor's operations. The is a warranted level II contracting officer with contracting authority up to $50,000. The who reports to the Construction Engineer, is a supervisor of project engineers and inspectors assigned to their projects. WFLHD projects are located in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, and Yellowstone/Grand Teton Parks in Wyoming. We have the fortunate pleasure of improving transportation access to some of the most scenic sites in the country. Our projects present challenging environmental and engineering conditions that require unique and innovative solutions. The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing the contract and project administration of major highway construction projects. Ideally, the successful candidate will be experienced in highway engineering, project management principles.
