Job Description:
The successful candidate will have experience in the development of building space plans using AutoCAD. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed space plans indicating placement / rework of interior architectural features and arrangement of modular furniture. In addition to layout development, the candidate will also assist in the management of client projects in Dallas and remote leased properties. The candidate should have previous experience in managing small-medium commercial office projects, and have experience with modular furniture systems. The candidate will assist the project team in ensuring that project schedule and budget objectives are met through monitoring of construction and financial activities. The candidate will also assist in the planning & management of client remote leasing projects, involving coordination of construction activities with remote site Property Managers, Client Office Managers and local contractors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Development of scaled architectural / modular furniture layout drawings using AutoCAD. Assists in project planning though interfacing with client personnel to identify required work scope and existing site conditions. Assist in management of assigned projects to insure work is completed within project budget and schedule requirements. Coordinates project work with Client Office Managers, Facilities personnel and leased site Landlords & Municipalities. Ensures all work is performed in accordance with applicable OSHA safety regulations & IDCFS / Client Safety Procedures. Assists in contractor / vendor identification and selection for assigned remote leasing projects. Works with project staff & Client Facilities personnel to develop detailed, estimates, project scopes of work and bid packages. Reviews subcontractor proposals to assure costs are reasonable & within project budget.
