Job Description:
Key Functions Contributes to the efforts of MITRE systems engineering and rapid prototyping efforts supporting the Special Operations community in the areas of advanced concepts and technologies. Provides systems engineering support to assist the sponsor in the evaluation and introduction of rapid response systems acquisitions to contribute to the sponsors mission requirements. Work with and coordinate MITRE system engineering efforts across the organization and the cognizant technology experts within MITRE. Required Education/Experience: BS or equivalent and 5 years of related experience or MS or equivalent and 3 years of related experience or PhD and 1 year of related experience Desired Education/Experience Prefer BS/MS in engineering, computer science or a related field and 10+ years relevant work experience in Army operational and tactical intelligence, command and control, and/or IT systems/programs that process intelligence, especially as it relates to the Special Operations Community. Experience in working with senior civilian and military customers and their requirements. Required Skills: Successful candidate will be a skilled communicator; have demonstrated experience in Army operational and tactical intelligence, command and control, and information technology. Desired Skills Fundamental understanding gained from hands-on experience with military intelligence, particularly in the Special Operations Community and with state-of-the-art IT capabilities that can be applied to solve operational and tactical requirements.
