Because of the breadth of responsibility and activities with this important Sponsor, you will often be required to work across The MITRE Corporation to assemble multi-disciplinary teams to effectively meet evolving challenges as you manage both long- and short-term tasks within the FFRDC construct. Because this work program is growing in both size and technical complexity it provides an excellent growth opportunity for the right individual. Key Functions Responsible for day-to-day operational management of all activities and functions in a specific MITRE program area which is in direct support of a Sponsor. This includes determining program service levels and enhancements; developing and monitoring program budgets; providing technical advice to the Sponsor; directly supervising assigned MITRE staff; managing and producing deliverables; authoring and reviewing project reports and technical papers; and performing related work as required. Additional functions include serving as the primary customer interface and as the key internal project point of contact. Required Education/Experience: BS or equivalent and 7 years of related experience or MS or equivalent and 4 years of related experience or PhD and 2 years of related experience Desired Education/Experience BS or equivalent and 7 years of related experience. Required Skills: Five years of demonstrated and/or verifiable program management, oversight, OCIO, or suitable technical experience in support of the US Government.
