Job Description:
The Operation Investment Analyst will monitor daily cash flows, manage documentation, and interact with various financial institutions. Reports to the Investment Operations Manager.The investment staff at the Red Cross manages approximately billion across two investment programs. The Retirement System, a defined benefit plan, is valued at about $1.7 billion. The Select Investment Program is about billion, of which about $900 million is endowed and the remainder corporate discretionary assets, including Red Cross chapter investment assets. The program, run by national headquarters, is mandatory for all local Red Cross chapter endowed and long-term assets. The Select Investment Program is managed through nine unitized and daily valued commingled funds which are available to chapters and national headquarters. ResponsibilitiesUnder general direction, oversees daily banking operations; coordinates with custodian and internal accounting department on various investment related accounting issues; coordinates with team members in the subscription process of new investments; monitors investment accounting transactions; performs reconciliations and prepares investment schedules; Supports annual audit activities.
