Job Description:
This position interacts with various levels of management (to Director level) of SHC including Marketing, Advertising, Legal, Customer Experience, Store Operations, and Merchandise. Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements Develop and manage the execution of initiatives (across functions) as directed by management, including data gathering and analysis, business requirement development, supplier qualification, preparation of Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Request for Quotation (RFQs), Invitations to Bid (ITBs), and evaluation of responses. Develops negotation strategy, participates in supplier negotiations, and prepares recommendations to business customersCreates and manages purchase orders and contracts utilizing procurement systems.Independently seeks out and develops opportunities for process improvements and innovative business solutionsMaintains a comprehensive understanding regarding service offerings, as well as emerging industry trends/product developments, that impact the company's business lines and functionsParticipates in joint meetings with clients to assist in procurement forecasting, demand managemen.
