Supply shortfalls Inventory position Create Purchase Orders Monitor EDI signals As an on-site Resident Buyer/Planner, individual will be required to represent Eaton in regularly scheduled and ad-hoc meetings that are specific to supply chain discussions pertinent to the North America market. Some of the specific tasks include (but are not limited to): ·Serve as the contact person between HP and Eaton for any issues ·Participate in supply conference calls (as needed) - weekly ·Submit COPP sheets for site procurement highlighting shortages ·Attend shortage meetings - could be daily ·Attend staff meetings - weekly ·Attend training shortage meetings - weekly ·Update all daily shortage reports with the most current, accurate information - Daily Buffer Tool SAP - Positioning Defects, Stockouts, Memo ·Create/monitor scheduling agreements and discreet PO's for supply needed in the HP factories ·Monitor supply that arrives to the hub from the supplier ·Expedite supply in as needed to the Exel hub to support the factory ·Manage supplier owned inventory at the hub ·Resolve AP issues ·Update the monthly obsolescence in SAP and attend monthly obsolescence meeting ·Monitor Direct Ship Order Book - Daily Ensure HP sales orders create POs 850 - ensure Eaton/Powerware receives POs.
