Job Description:
Work with the Manufacturing Training Community to implement strategies that assist Manufacturing Facilities in improving training statistics. · Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, provide interpretation as needed; Work with Plant Training Managers/Coordinators to develop standardized Training Policies and Practices across Manufacturing. · Work closely with Plant Managers and Plant Human Resource Managers to understand their training related challenges and work with them to develop and implement solutions that better meet their needs and remain in alignment with the expectations of the overall organization regarding training and human resource policies and procedures. · Align and work with the Sr. VP Manufacturing to continually upgrade the organization with improved training and delivery methods that provide timely, targeted training to meet the changing needs of the Manufacturing organization. · Work to improve and maintain a positive work climate. Facilitate better communications with employees and management. Identify issues that affect employee training and assist with their resolution. · Ensure that the location orientation program is being done and serving the needs of all new employees;· Provide on site support/Coordinate support for plants with vacant Training Manager/Coordinator Positions.
