Manages the design, development and implementation of compensation policies and strategies for Citizens. Ensures compensation programs are market competitive and aligned with organizational philosophy. Provides guidance and training to the management team on compensation philosophy, policies, and programs. Management and oversight of statewide personnel action processing to ensure consistency, efficiency and expediency. Manages the classification and position description process to ensure consistency throughout Citizens. Oversees the performance management and merit increase process for the organization. Benchmarks industry trends and solicits management feedback annually. Incorporates benchmark data and management feedback into ongoing improvements in the design and implementation of the annual performance management and merit increase process. Ensures efficient utilization of the HR information system to effectively and accurately administer compensation. Assists in preparing budget according to established formats, guidelines, and due dates. Assists in monitoring expenditures to ensure conformity to budget.
