Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Develop and deliver HR M&A strategies incorporating industry best practices and Sun experience, to enable achievement of business objectives. Acts as a single point of contact and neutral HR negotiator across all stages of the acquisition process. Mobilize change by engaging people and leveraging processes, using change acceptance and management methodologies. Determine and deliver the people, culture and organization initiatives throughout a deal life cycle. Assess risk and develop and drive mitigation plans early in process. Ensure executive line of sight through regular dashboards, metrics, presentations as needed, etc. Leverage best practices, benchmarks, lessons learned for continual improvements. Partner with HR Business Partner, target company's critical staff and Sun functional and PMO teams. Drive core HR functional work, organizational strategy, structure and other elements of organization design, culture assessments, retention plans and workforce planning for M&A. MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: Some travel required both within the US and Internationally.
