Major Duties: The incumbent serves as the Director of the Miami Multifamily Program Center. Provides advice and guidance to HUB Director on all matters pertaining to statutory and regulatory requirements and other administrative directives. Recommends improvements to work products and resolves technical work problems, developing solutions that are innovative and precedent setting. Interfaces with sponsor/customers, Federal, state and local government agencies, congressional interests other external organizations, and higher authorities, for projects assigned. Directs the day-to-day activities of a staff, including distribution of workload, tracking work progress and status, instructing staff in specific tasks and job techniques, and reporting on work performance, and training needs.
