Job Description:
This position is responsible for the supervision and technical process control of the Electroform Department.
Areas of supervision and control include: staffing, scheduling, environmental control equipment, waste treatment equipment, DI water equipment, tank chemistry, silvering process, Plate Vault inventory
Improvement of overall processes and related issues including process development, scheduling, creating process documentation, product assembly and production processing, problem solving and program management.
Development of procedures and corrective actions to address process problems. All procedures and corrective actions to be compliant with the ISO system. Institute SPC for process control on production floor.
Actively participate in all continuous improvement activities to improve safety, cost, quality and efficiency of overall operation of plate manufacturing.
Assist engineers and technicians in the design, manufacture, construction, operation and maintenance of capital improvements/modifications.
Job Requirements:
o AA degree in technical discipline and/or equivalent experience in the field of electroplating.
o 8+ years in electroform operations utilizing nickel plating; hands on experience, both formal and informal training.
o 3 years supervisory experience
