POSITION SUMMARY: The Corporate Governance Project Manager shall be the steward of effective risk-based internal controls driving accurate and timely financial information for use by key stakeholders including members, management, vendors, practitioners and regulatory agencies. The Project Manager will provide leadership and project management to continuously improve the internal controls over financial reporting in the Colorado region consistent with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), the COSO Framework and PCAOB standards. The Project Manager will assure compliance with Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures, applicable regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Additionally, the Project Manager will set the tone of the organization as a positive culture of compliance, ethics and integrity. Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures and performs in accordance with the Principles of Responsibilities and applicable regulatory requirements, external laws and accreditation standards. Appropriately reports observed fraud or abuse.
